Byline: KATHY STEVENS MONCKS CORNER-New evidence in a DUI case could lead to a new trial for former Moncks Corner Police Chief. He was arrested June 20 and charged with driving under the influence. The town of Moncks Corner later fired the police chief, who was driving a town-owned vehicle at the time of his arrest. Jurors found him guilty of DUI on Wednesday. Immediately after the verdict was given, His attorneys, Grover C. Seaton III and John Drennan, requested that Judge Elizabeth Harper consider a motion for a new trial. The new information in the case was given to Judge Harper — the second trial he was found not guilty.
